Iren Ivanova
Artist Bio
Iren Ivanova is a Ukrainian visual artist and photographer working across photography,
painting, and mixed-media interventions. Her practice explores perception, inner states,
fragility, presence and disappearance, and the boundary between the visible and the felt.
Moving between conceptual photography, abstraction, and direct observation, Ivanova uses
light, movement, colour, gesture, blur, and the transformation of familiar forms to investigate
the instability of perception. Her works often shift away from literal representation, allowing
colour, surface, and visual traces to become autonomous elements of the image.
Her work has been presented internationally in Germany, France, Switzerland, the
Netherlands, and Romania, and is held in private collections.
